Yes they do in Bay Area, I spoke to many Uber drivers when I was in San Jose area for office training and he said he can earn couple of thounds dollars by driving Uber/Lyft in weekends. He makes around 6k and full time driver and they need to know when is the rush hour and which places to go . I noticed charges for Uber fair is Bit higher in those areas.

people can make decent money with Uber in big cities and smart enough to know the rush hours /places.

Telive/talent is important baa to survive and be successful not only in USA but elsewhere in World . USA lo success (financially)kavadam kodiga easy. IT lo kuliga undatam vala, prapancham lo em jaruguthundo teluvadu. IT is a very sick job , yet we do it because it’s a easy money. Probably our generation might be last desis (came from India on f1/H1b) kavochu as people here started going for STEM courses and second generation kids are smart and picking tech easily. It’s good for America, less dependent on overseas people.
