My employer shared health insurance plans 

it’s costing around 650$ for month for a family of 2

hospital visit is $40 per visit etc and can see a specialist directly 

Deductible $5200

out of pocket maximum $13400

 

 

till now I m with a Indian mnc so it used to cost me around 200$ per month for premium for a better plan than above, now joined a consultancy and premiums are high 

 

did anyone face same situation? Any recommendations?

and desi mnc lo 200 eh enduku ante vadu iche billing ki koncham bear chestadu anukunta. Hospital visit enta undedi..

 

650 and 40 per visit it good.. and it will be before tax kabatti 650 kooda padadu.

I thought taxes will be deducted and then the premium $650 will be deducted from the my net pay

Mnc lo pay takkuva and insurance pedatadu. Consultancy lo pay better and high insurance.

650 for family of 2 ?? It is very less, my employer is charging 1100. 
Can you share plan details ?

Insurance premiums are paid pre-tax.. you don’t pay tax on insurance premiums.. 

that is a good plan in my opinion.. not best.. but good

Infy/tcs valla plans baguntayi.. they subsidize the insurance premiums..
