One thing I dont understand is how much will RTC pay to govt monthly? if RTC is not paying anything, Govt has to bear the salaries (3000 Crores + per year) and more for their pensions,... totaling about 3500 crores per year assuming no pay hikes. Where will this money come from?

 

RTC is incurring a loss of 1200 crores per year before the hike in charges. It may be around 500 crores per year now.

Rate hikes will decrease loses but wont break even. RTC will still have 500 crores or so of loses per year assuming no salary increases and diesel price hikes.

 

I think RTC will be saved as salaries will come from Govt now. May be centre will come and share the profits every year as they have 30% share and don't have to pay employee salaries?

We will now in 5-10 years based on APSRTC services in AP. Hopefully it wont be a service like Govt Hospitals and Schools 

 

Nothing changed in TG from operations perspective. Probably Congress will say they will merge with Govt and gets benefit in 2023
