HMDA plot auction fetches record Rs 79,900 per sq yard
 

HYDERABAD: Continuing its record price per square yard for open plots, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority
(https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/Hyderabad-Metropolitan-Development-Authority) (HMDA
(https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/HMDA)) got the highest rate of Rs 79,900 per square yard on the second day of open
plots auction held on Sunday. This amount is Rs 2,000 per sq yard more than the Rs 77,000 per sq yard on the first day of
auction held on December 14.
The authority got about Rs 135 crore on the second day totalling about Rs 290 crore revenue in the two days. On the first day,
it earned Rs 155 crore for 58 plots. The HMDA has put total 124 open plots for auction in Uppal Bhagayat layout and is
conducting auctions for three days.

While 45 plots were put for auction on Sunday, 58 were auctioned on Saturday. The auction will continue for the third day on
Monday in which 24 big plots of sizes more than 2,000 sq yard with a total extent of 90,000 sq yards, which can be used for
commercial purposes would be auctioned. The authority is expecting more than Rs 1,000 crore for the third day of the auction.
According to HMDA secretary M Ramakishan, 23 plots in the
morning and another 22 plots in the afternoon were auctioned
on Sunday. “There is an overwhelming response from the
bidders. The lowest rate received was Rs 30,200 against the
upset price of Rs 30,000 per square yard fixed by the metropolitan authority,” the secretary said.
He said the average rate for plots was Rs 61,947 per sq yard in the morning session, it was just Rs 40,000 in the second
session. For two plots, the bidding continued till late night. On the first day too, the authority could not get response for four
plots. The officials said single bids would not be accepted and the plots would be re-auctioned in the next phase of auctions.

200, 300, 500 yards plot chala thakkuva bro, most of then plots are 1000, 2000 yards unnayi.

Motham bhagayat layout 630 acres anukunta, dhantlo number of plots are few hundreds anukunta.

compared to the infra it has, it is dead cheap. 

67k per yd, means 75000rs per sqm right? which works out to about 30crores per acre. how far is uppal? isn't it inside the city and a happening place?

ammber lo STP(sewegae treatment plant) pettinaru and uppal bhagayat is morr nagole than uppal. also musi la underground pipeline esinaru and there is no stench. 

big plus is that it is right next to nagole metro station, infact 130 acres of nagole metro is given from uppal bhagayat ploting
