better to use cobra for 1 or 2 months until you get new insurance..generally new employee ki day 1 nunchi insurance ivvali

In general you get insurance form Day 1. Though you don't get the card, your effective date would be the date of hire. Double check that..

If that's not the case, do this:

You usually have 90 days to either say or don't say that you need Cobra insurance. Do not respond back and wait till you get new insurance.

a) during your wait time, you fell sick, then you get services and sign cobra

b) if all is well during that month, after you get new insurance, decline cobra

cobra is the only option. you can cancel after 1-2 months

yea COBRA best between job..little expensive but peace of mind ba..

Hello @usetime63, I did this few years back. Job to Job transfer lo naaku kuda 30 day gap vachindi, i took Short Term Medical Insurance from Assurant. All major health insurances provide chestayi, just search short term health insurance and figure out what works best for you. Good luck!
