Highly successful in Academics but a big loser in career...share your story

top 3 in school

top 1% in EAMCET

avg in Engineering 

good but not the best in MS (got admission from top university but could not study there due to money issues)

Good in job , usually in top 1 or 2 in team where ever I go ,  but I used to feel that some of my classmates surpassed me purely because they had better options (mostly due to money etc) after Engineering

Anyway , it is what it is , I'm now trying to improve myself in job every year learning new things etc

Success in life: luck,  right place, right time, perfection in one subject/tech, communication, contacts(frns/collegues), politics, investment strategy, smart skills , family support and no family tensions etc
