Anta Assamey Posted January 3, 2020 Report Posted January 3, 2020 YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday made it clear that equal justice to all parts of the scheme was going to be his government’s objective. Indirectly hinting at his stand on going ahead with the decentralised administration, Jagan told a public meeting at the launch of revamped YSR Arogya Sri scheme in Eluru in West Godavari district, Jagan said he was doing undoing what the previous government had done only to ensure that all parts of the state were developed. “All areas of the state have to be developed so that people from all parts of the state will be happy. The previous government had shown partiality to only one section of people and one region of the state. We are only going to undo this process,” he said. The chief minister said whatever decisions that he was taking were in the best interest of the people of all regions. “Every region should get water, jobs and benefits of welfare schemes. We are going in that direction,” Jagan said. His comments assume significance in the wake of his proposal to carve out three capital cities for a decentralised development. The proposal is still at a discussion stage and a concrete decision is expected after the Republic Day celebrations. Quote
