assuming ur technically good...

Find out week point of your manager..i mean some managers are good at business and poor in technical...if he is that category...find out technical debt in the current code and keep on complain about current architecture....

ok , one friend had similar problem with the new manager in new company he joined , returned back to my company with in 1 year of the new job

Okate option accept him and situation as it is then take.decsion 

You like something may be compensation,  full.time , or something you liked in your job think about the positivs,  micromanagement is sometimes good he knows what you are doing
