I get a pension, but that is not the point. 401k in 30 years with a salary of 120k can get you anywhere between 2-2.5 million. That can easily last another 20 or more years. Will you keep working after 65 so that you can keep your cart moving? Iyala repu kids manalani choosukuntarani guarantee ledhu..

Yeah employer contribution undadu . We can earn 30-40 k more in consulting just bare min . How much is that contribution compared to what we earn ?

65 years tarvata jarigedanikosam, apati varaku oka job lo arrest ayi vundadam is something unthinkable for a person like me..

I mean..if you have worked from 25 till 65, You should have saved enough or make investments worth 2-3 million at least if not, trust me it makes no sense to work. I might be able to have 2-3 mil at 65, but what good are those savings at 65 ? to pay for senior living accomodation and nursing,therapy expenses and occasional family get  together. .

I mean, if you don't have any other plan other than to work till 65 in your favourite job, that makes sense but just for the sake of 401k and pension if you are working , then...
