** Anyone from Texas - Frisco : Cop caught me with an expired DL** Urgent reply pls

Try to get the license before the court date. Produce new DL and tell them since your are an immigrant, it took long time to renew DL due to paper work. They might/might not buy it off. But, there is a chance they would let it go if it is your first offence.
