Its not even that expensive dude. Its almost on par with chennai now.

A few years back igenerally houses in Boat club and Poes Garden were costlier than houses in Bangalore's Sadashivnagar and Indiranagar. Not sure how the prices are now.

I spoke in IT employee context. I think most of Mumbai companies moved to pune. 

Not complaining about being expensive, but what you getting in return for it.. Congested roads, traffic snarls and water problems.

Bengaluru doesn't have proper public transport system as compared to chennai or Mumbai daani vaalle problem..

You mean local trains? BMTC buses are way way better than Chennai and Mumbai buses . Connectivity is also pretty good.

You can keep a cricket wicket on road and can expect 2km traffic jam. Many times I see 3-4 kms of traffic jam just for a car breakdown on road.

Silk board, Tin factory, Hebbal Flyover and few areas in Whitefield are the major choke points.

Yeah, local trains badly needed. Metro is in construction now. And metro yet to start in main traffic areas. Adi start avte janalu adukkutinadame inka.

I'm guessing recently introduced separate bus lane didn't have much imapct on traffic congestions? Yeah local trains would help a lot.
