Chittoor District development

Chittoor district is emerging as the new industrial hub of AP . The district is home to many electronics and food processing industries. 

Ever since Sri City project was started in 2007 , it has literally lead to an industrial boom . Several MNCs have established presence there . It would not be surprising to note that even Sydney metro coaches are manufactured there . 

IIIT was established in 2013 . In fact , it wouldn’t be surprising to note that Sri City has even outperformed Amaravati in attracting industries .

Thanks to the Central Government , new projects have been announced for Chittoor district.  Bangalore Chennai expressway , a 6 lane access controlled highway , will cover a major portion of the district , benefitting Palamaner , Bangarupalem etc.

New NIMZ project will help industries in the district and Bangarupalem is one of the nodes in BCIC or Bangalore Chennai industrial corridor .
