Japan's Sony and NTT Docomo joined other major names such as Amazon, Swedish telecoms giant Ericsson and South Korea's LG in skipping this year's edition of Mobile World Congress amid the global outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The conference is scheduled to take place from February 24 to 27 in Barcelona.
