Same for us.

We survive just because of income from other sources (like my job,...). This year, we gave some agriculture land for lease atleast that way we can concentrate on little land hoping to make some sense. Have to see how this will work out.

Basic problem is no labour for agriculture work.

We get about 2800 per ton of Sugarcane. We spend about 1000 per ton just to cut and transport it to factory. Sugarcane is a 1 year crop and it takes a lot of fertilizer, water, seeding ,... investments

Emi chestam kaka... no other options

Antha Paddy veste water chalavu .. so have to choose something else for part of our fields. no Labor for commerical crops ... Idantha oka vicious cycle .. glad no rains during harvests. Adi kuda unte, inka terrible ga untadhi situation

Only other option is to leave the field with no crop. My father wont prefer that option due to his sentiments,... trying to give part of the land for lease
