అమరావతి, ఫిబ్రవరి 11(ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): రాష్ట్రంలో రవాణా రంగంలో మందగమనం కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంది. ఈ ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో డీజీల్‌, పెట్రోల్‌ అమ్మకాలు క్షీణించి, దానిపై రాష్ట్ర ఖజానాకు వచ్చే పన్ను ఆదాయం తగ్గిపోయింది. మొదటి పది నెలల్లో ఈ ఆదాయం 5 శాతం తగ్గింది. సాధారణంగా ఏడాదికేడాది పన్ను ఆదాయాలు ఎంతోకొంత పెరుగుతుంటాయి. కానీ, రాష్ట్రంలో కార్యకలాపాలు మందగించడంతో డీజిల్‌ వినియోగం తగ్గిపోయిందని వాణిజ్య పన్నుల శాఖ అధికారులు చెప్తున్నారు. గతేడాది మొదటి 10 నెలల్లో డీజిల్‌, పెట్రోల్‌ అమ్మకాలపై రూ.9,500 కోట్ల ఆదాయం రాగా, ఈ ఏడాది అది రూ.8,500 కోట్లకు పడిపోయిందని చెప్పారు. మద్యం అమ్మకాలపైనా వ్యాట్‌ 2 శాతం మేర తగ్గింది. గతేడాది 10 నెలల్లో రూ.9,000 కోట్లు రాగా, ఈ ఏడాది రూ.8,800 కోట్లు మాత్రమే వచ్చింది. అలాగే, జీఎస్టీ వసూళ్లు 14 శాతం పెరగాల్సినవి కేవలం 8 శాతం మాత్రమే పెరిగాయి. గత ఏడాది 10 నెలల్లో రూ.17,000 కోట్లు రాగా, ఈ ఏడాది 10 నెలల్లో రూ.19,000 కోట్లు వచ్చాయి. మొత్తంగా చూస్తే వాణిజ్య పన్నులు చాలా స్వల్పంగా 2.5 శాతం వృద్ధి మాత్రమే నమోదు చేసుకున్నాయి.

New Delhi: Domestic demand for diesel fell 7.4% in October from a year ago, marking its biggest monthly fall in about three years. Analysts attributed the dip in part to sluggish economic activity during the festive season. Total demand for oil during the month was down by 1.4% from October of 2018.
