Did you try new windows terminal preview with themes or ConEmu. Also wsl (windows subsystem for Linux) is in picture. Visual studio code with embedded terminal is what people using nowadays

Emo 2015 nunchi Mac using. Last year assembly language course kosam vadaa but just basic terminal use chesaa. So don’t know much about recent developments

My surface laptop starts in 1 sec. 16gb ram and i7 , 256GB got for $1299.
