You mean while going to India or returning to states ? I thought you want to get gold from India to states . Usually one or two necklaces mamulgane they carry to US . I never saw anyone fined for that . It depends on what they are carrying too. UK lo super strict but US lo they aren’t at least with gold . Quote

no01 Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Simple logic....it’s all your luck factor. Ppl who said they carried coins/biscuits etc and still went through customs without issues are lucky ones. absolutely no Coins allowed per rule there is a limit for ornament gold. Check India customs website and same thing, getting ornaments from India to US (check US customs website). Ppl say lot of things but nee luck neede. Repu customs lo fine kattamante vallani aduguthava enti. So it’s all your problem and your comfort. Quote
Android_Halwa Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Considerable amount of jewelry teesukelli na, remember as an Indian citizen, no one can stop you from entering India as you can exercise your rights, so ie limits ni chusi chudanattu vadilestaru...travelling passengers of Indian origin degara gold vuntadi ani andariki telsu...edo customs rules vunatayi Ppl at customs are looking a bigger things, especially hyderabad airport po gold smuggling kosam chestaru...India’s highest gold smuggle ayedi Hyd Airport lo ne..professional gangs smuggle bars of gold everyday and customs people are more busy in catching those guys than ornamental legit jewelry Quote
Android_Halwa Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Some people may be lucky...to get in sets of jewelry without declaring, kondariki fine padtadi, kondariki bills chupiyamani adugutaru, inkonariki seize chesi case book chestaru... I know a classic case where a woman was detained in Hyd for having excess jewelry sets with her and has been detained, later was fined 75,000 rupees and cleared...at the same time I know many people who bought jewelry without declaring...even bars and coins. Android_Halwa Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 2017 mundu gold bars teesukupoina adigetollu kadu...kani now, gold bars and coins are banned and are subject to import tax.. Quote
