మొన్నటికి మొన్న పోలవరం పెండింగ్ బిల్లులు చెల్లించలేదంటూ జర్మనీ కంపెనీ ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం పరువు తీస్తే...తాజాగా పెండింగ్ బిల్లును చెల్లించడం లేదంటూ జగన్ ప్రభుత్వంపై పునరుత్పాదక ఇంధన శక్తి కంపెనీలు చేసిన ఆరోపణలు అంతర్జాతీయ మీడియాకు ఎక్కాయి.

వాడుకున్న విద్యుత్‌కు ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం బిల్లులు చెల్లించడం లేదని ఉత్పత్తి కంపెనీలు చెబుతున్నాయంటూ అమెరికాలోని ప్రముఖ వాల్‌స్ట్రీట్ జర్నల్  ఓ వ్యాసం రాసింది. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా సోలార్ విద్యుత్ వినియోగంపై కథనం రాసిన వాల్‌స్ట్రీట్ జర్నల్ ఈ సందర్భంగా భారత్‌లో తాజా పరిస్థితుల గురించి  కూడా చర్చించింది.

And, you never negotiate when you go shopping? But for the consumption/negotiation angle, people should have been still paying 20 Rs/- for a unit of electricity like in 2010.. I don't see why any government should bow to a lobby. All these corporates have a lobby and will try and create furor over things that hurt them. But, as end consumers, we should be happy for this, imo.

Agreement has a legal stand

You can negotiate on agreement saying we will buy electricity from you at present rates until the existing agreement period and after that we will only if you give it for x amount of rupees

 

This lobbying should be done with the seller

 

however Instead of lobbying  the government Threatened to cancel agreements which irked the power companies and they went to court and won. Even after winning the power companies are publisicing this issue in International forums like Davos and other International channels. This causes a huge blow to future investments. 
 

And to your point - Won’t you negotiate when you do shopping?

Yes we negotiate with the seller before The Quotes and invoices are finalized .... but we do not negotiate on price after the product is delivered to our home and after we started using it ....
