Guys and gals... any reviews about IIIT hyd... how is education and life in college and campus placements etc...

It's a really nice college, it's competitive to get into IIT Hyderabad. The computer science program there is very good comparable to any other big institution's(IIT,BITS Pilani) program in India. Coming to placements, it depends on individual, typically all the big companies(Google, Amazon, Microsoft,etc.) visit IIIT Hyderabad.

IIIT-H computer science students get lot of direct international offers ex. Google MTV, Microsoft Redmond, Oracle Redwood City, Amazon Seattle, Facebook Menlo Park, Goldman Sachs New York etc 

my ex-roommate was recruited by Facebook back in 2013 (pre-ipo).
