Tesla driver in fatal autopilot crash was playing video game, inquiry finds

According to investigators, Apple software engineer Walter Huang was playing a video game on his smartphone at the time of his fatal crash on Hwy 101 in Mountain View, California, in 2018. The inquiry found Huang's Tesla Model X was in autopilot mode and noted how overconfidence in automation and the “misuses of technology" can lead to safety issues.

It's part of the autonomous software. Why would car alert when the entire Car is AI controlled with that mode? It's the person behind the Wheel's job to control when something going to hurt him. He seems to be too comfortable trusting the software.

As per books of nhtsa and sac this is level 2 but it exceeds beyond level 4...
