Obama's office has denounced a misleading pro-Trump super PAC ad attacking Joe Biden and called on TV stations in South Carolina to stop airing the spot. Katie Hill, a spokesperson for Obama, told The Washington Post that the ad was an effort to sow "division and confusion" and "suppress turnout among minority voters."
