Company A H1B Approved till end of 2021. But laid off a while ago

Moved to company B H1B approved only for 6 months. Applied for extension PP 2 weeks ago. Received NIOD for My initial h1b applied wrongly under M cap. Attorney said it will be denied and very little chance approve.

In this case can I go back to Company A if they have job for me?

Yes, you can if they have NOT withdrawn your petiton.
