It is a combination of DNA, parenting, upbringing, schools etc.. does not have to be mom.. could be dad also..

Physical attributes come from dad and intelligence from mom especially if it is male kid ani chadivanu.  Alane rogalu from mom to girl child vache chances are high than from mom to male kid . Idi doctor aey  cheppadu naku .
