Like I said, I understand what chloroquine does. I don't understand how it acts on the virus alone. Because chloroquine is a transfection agent, it should be toxic to other cells as well, no reason why it will only kill virus alone. Is it something to do with the dosage or are they targeting it to hepatocytes (assuming COVID-19 binds with those cells in the lung).
