House Speaker Nancy Pelosi previewed a sweeping new coronavirus relief bill on Monday as efforts to move a nearly $2 trillion package to a vote in the Senate failed for the second time in as many days.

"According to an official summary of the House bill, individuals including the retired and the unemployed would receive $1,500, compared with $1,200 in the Senate bill. The House proposal would also create a $600 per week payment for any worker laid off or for self-employed people who have lost contracts due to the pandemic." – Bloomberg
