second di I remember vividly ...the bull dozer drama...I read the word gymkhana first time in this story...Hyderabad vellinapudu I saw gymkhana and was so thrilled lol..ignorance ..but that was something from the books even if not same gymkhana ground.

I go gaga for RK Narayan style of narration. That typical south Indianness is so evident. I still read his books often...second or third time also. My MOST fav is talkative man...Bujjjji book but profound concept with hilarious scenes

second one was about road roller — this was adapted in Telugu movie too brahmi gadiki anadaru kalisi gift ga istar like he used to steal items from his tenants.
