Do you know? Both Linux and Mac are officially more vulnerable and less stable than Windows. Search like 'most vulnerable software etc' for sources.

windows cannot do a simple thing of "forcing its users to  upgrade to a newer version of its browser".. thats why i dont like it much..

and yeah, I'm saying Windows is the best possible OS out there... it implies it can't be done better (considering the scale of the OS and the compatibility issues it should consider).. else someone else could have made a better OS and forced MSFT out of business...

and yes, your screenshots mean nothing. Emirates flight crash aithe, can we deduce anything from that??? When their 7OS is running on 175 million PCs' (probably more now), it is very likely that it crashes some where, but look at the bigger picture and accept that it is a huge success, because its good!

windows is not stable just accept it.. no need to explain.

try programming once in an operating system other than OS.. Programmer is limited by his/her speed not by the speed of the software you are using.

1. IE 6.0 will be supported till 2014

2. Not forcing users to upgrade is a good thing for god's sake. What is the point you are trying to make? It is easier for the company to stop support and force users. Users/Businesses do not want to upgrade in the fear or breaking their existing applications and MSFT respects their choice and continue to support that outdated browser.

3. I won't accept that Win7 is unstable. As I said earlier, it is most stable OS available. Point me to a stabler OS if you can or don't ask me to accept baseless statements. Show me a perfect system, any system (not just software), which never fails anytime anywhere.

4. Programming thingy.. I don't know what you mean..

5. Why did you even talk about Chrome OS? Do you know that it is not being released as a competitor for Windows? It is a cheap solution for people who 'just want to browse'. Its nothing but Chrome browser and some settings also part of the browser interface. It is in line with the Google's strategy of 'looking at the world through a browser'.

definitely not wildly successful and superior products like Win7, Office, Kinect, SQL etc!!

I have observed this trend of people getting lost in the 'cool boy' image projected by Mac without knowing the facts. Mac is just cool and nothing else.
