According to the Transportation Security Administration, the number of passengers traveling domestically in the US declined 93% compared to 2019. The change could mean that more Americans are following social distancing recommendations, and only boarding flights for essential travel.

There were just 154,080 airline passengers in the U.S. yesterday compared to 2.36 million on the same day a year earlier, according to TSA screening figures.
