UK opens its first NHS emergency coronavirus hospital at ExCel London

The venue is used to hosting mass gatherings and conventions, but it was converted for use as a hospital in just nine days during the coronavirus pandemic. Plans are in place for further Nightingale hospitals in Bristol and Harrogate, while there are also plans to convert buildings in other cities, including Cardiff and Glasgow.
