A shocking incident has come to light in Tamil Nadu's Pudukottai district. Because they couldn't find liquor anywhere because of the ongoing lockdown, two fishermen mixed after-shave lotion with a soft drink, consumed it thinking that it would taste like liquor, and died after their health condition deteriorated.

As reported by The Hindu, three fishermen were involved in the act. M. Hasan Mydeen (35), P. Anwar Raja (33) and M. Arun Kantian (29) got hold of a soft drink and mixed after-shave lotion in it. They were presumably fooled by some fake social media forward.

One of the victims was treated in a hospital but didn't respond to treatment.

While police are investigating the incident, it's important for the gullible to keep in mind that WhatsApp forwards can be fatal sometimes! So, extreme caution is advised.

its country lockdown now right ? only shops open would be grocery stores and pharmacy stores as they're essential needs. 

Here govt did not implement any lockdowns for anyone, only rules for now is social distancing and some international flights cancelled, and stay at home orders (can go for groceries and pharmacy stores) for some states.
