నేడు బీజేపీ ఆవిర్భావ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ప్రతి కార్యకర్త తమ ఇంటిపై పార్టీ జెండా ఎగురవేయాలని బీజేపీ రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షుడు బండి సంజయ్ పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ఈ సమయంలో సోషల్ డిస్టెన్స్ పాటించాలని కోరారు. ఈ మేరకు బీజేపీ ఓ పత్రికా ప్రకటనను విడుదల చేసింది. లాక్‌డౌన్ కారణంగా కష్టాలను ఎదుర్కొంటున్న ప్రజలకు సంఘీభావంగా కార్యకర్తలందరూ ఒకరోజు భోజనం మానివెయ్యాలని కోరింది. అన్నార్తులకు ప్రతి కార్యకర్త ఒక్కొక్కరూ ఐదుగురికి చొప్పున ఆహారం అందించాలని బీజేపీ ప్రకటనలో తెలిపింది.

BJP's lone MLA in Telangana Raja Singh led a unique protest against coronavirus Sunday night by raising slogans of "Chinese virus go back".

The MLA, along with his supporters, lit torches in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi''s call to switch off electrical lights and light ''diyas'', candles or flashlight on mobile phones as a mark of solidarity in the fight against coronavirus.

Holding fire torches in their hands, Raja Singh and his followers raised slogans of "go back, go back, Chinese virus go back".

The controversial MLA, who represents Goshamahal constituency in Hyderabad, was accompanied by more than a dozen supporters. While Raja Singh and five others were holding fire torches in their hands, others were carrying candles.

Maharashtra BJP MLA violates lockdown order after 200 people gather to celebrate his birthday

Amid the nationwide lockdown, BJP MLA Dadarao Keche in Mahrashtra's Wardha district flouted the norms of social distancing when two hundred people gathered at his residence to celebrate his birthday on Sunday, The Indian Express reported.

Although Keche denied the allegations, the local sub-divisional officer has issued a notice under various provisions against Keche for violation of rules invoked in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to The Indian Express Keche said, "I had invited only 21 labourers, who have lost their livelihood due to coronavirus, and distributed food grains to them. After that I left to visit my guru Bhikaram Baba at Ashta around 11 am. But my political adversaries took advantage of the situation to spread the word that I am distributing food grains leading to several people thronging my residence. When I got the information I rushed back and dispersed the crowd with the help of police.”
