I think Govt is better positioned to extend the lockdown by another week or so in present conditions...
 

Honestly, it’s better to extend than to face this epidemic. Looking at Spain, Italy and USA, iTs better to avoid than to face the consequences. India’s infrastructure cannot handle an epidemic of such size..

No one is opposed to lock down... But initially there looked some under preparedness..

Now also groceries & Vegetables transport with in state is getting effected so bcoz of that prices have gone up and availability gets more dent as time goes on.. Issue is more with Vegetables. Govt has to look in to it if thats Ironed out people will have minimum issues bcoz lock down...

I would Certainly recommend no running of trains at least May ending since schools are shut down and holiday time opening travel will allow make people travel here and there this has to be avoided at any cost..

Lockdown to continue in Telangana till 3 June

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that the lockdown over coronavirus shall continue in the state after 14 April till 3 June.

The 21-day day lockdown as a measure to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country was imposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 March and is bound to end on 14 April.

No extension of lockdown yet, clarifies Telangana CMO

The Telangana Chief Minister's Office clarified that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao only suggested extension of lockdown for two more weeks after 15 April.

"He took a reference from BCG report which suggested lockdown in India will be good until 3 June. No announcement of extension yet," ANI quoted the statement as saying.

Earlier, ANI reported that the Telangana government had announced an extension of the lockdown.
