NR stands for non-resident: substantial presence test ani okati vuntadi man, if you are in US on h1b for 6 months in last calendar year, you are considered resident for tax purposes. if you aren't you shud have filed on 1040-NR form.

 

only 3 ineligible criteria for not getting the stimulus

1. non-resident

2. people without SSN ante ITIN tho apply chesinavallu

3. obviously higher income
