The increase in fatalities in New York due to COVID-19 may cause serious logistical issues if the death rate does not fall. Some officials are discussing temporary interment options that could involve city parks, but, as of Monday morning, Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio have not yet instituted any such plan.
