I believe he is as bad as Rahul Gandhi if there are any press interactions (I’m sure he wouldn’t dare to call one). The only reason he is maintaining his great orator status is having a better communication team.

Modi is a bullshitter.

he's like that 8-10yr old kid who reads with passion the crap their mom wrote on his essay competition. 

if anyone thinks he's a good communicator, then he's not heard great orators. karunanidhi for one, one of the greatest. so smart, sophisticated, and witty. Annadurai too, another amazing orator.

Modi just brought down the level of public discourse which was already low when people called Vajpayee a great orator.

Modi encouraged hate in everyone's minds, and made them dumb.

He is actually very good in giving interviews and avoiding any questions. Look at his old interviews, other than few mins of Karan thapar. He realized that no matter what he says, the media will portray it negatively. So, he stopped giving access to media as there is no point. So are most of the Bjp leaders. Media cannot travel with Modi wherever he goes. They have to pay for their expenses. No freebies anymore. No info comes out of the govt without his/shah’s approval. Media cannot survive without information passed from the govt. now they are at the mercy of modi/shah. Whatever Modi wants to tell, he talks using twitter or man ki Baath. Media slowly became positive towards bjp now as they cannot survive without support from bjp. He tamed the media. 

Trump on the other hand likes confrontation and likes to be in the news all the time, good or bad. He talks to media several times a day. That is both his positive and negative. For a person like trump, he should not talk much. Ekkuva matladithe ekkuva dorikipotadu..

Ambani and other corporates started acquiring the other media houses few years back and started giving him positive coverage. When was the last time you saw a negative program on modi in any news channel (Not ndtv) in India? You no longer see any media person criticizing him openly..
