very few govts have used the lockdown productively by improving healthcare capacities, and have plans to open up the economy in phases. 

It still will not prevent a horrific recession.

Indian govt has done none of the above.. during lockdown covid has spread from 84 districts to 400 districts in India. and the cases are nowhere near peak yet.

India is going to be horribly hit both by the virus and the economy. US, China probably more by the ecnomy than the virus.
