You can crawl and do that stuff but for an order to be placed by the user to a specific grocery store instacart shpuld have some contract because at the end money is going to the grocery store right?

From my experience we used IBM WCS 5.5 and 6.0

there are other tools as well 

they have all developed and ready to use facilities we used it with Java development combined with the tool package API for implementation
