Flu vs Covid 

1st, this year we have between 24,000-60,000 flu deaths. Most of the time these guesstimates lean towards the lower number. So we will say between 24,000-30,000. Covid 19 deaths as of right now?

We have now matched the flu deaths and that number isnt done rising for awhile. 

Let's break down more differences.
The flu is seasonal and lasts around 13 weeks or so and is already spread throughout the country when the season hits full swing. Covid 19 wasnt already spread. It took time to spread due to ignorant people not practicing general hygiene or staying home when they were sick. Plain and simple. So 13 weeks of deaths 24,000 (with no social distancing of any kind) vs 41,000 deaths in essentially 4-6 weeks, with major social distancing and an enormous shut down of the country (despite some people's ignorance staying it's stupid and or unconstitutional or not working)... 
Some scientists have said if we let is spread like the flu does, Covid 19 would be worse than the Spanish Flu. 
Let's think about current numbers... 50,000,000+ get the flu in the united states. Let's say we didnt social distance. We just let it run its course like so many uneducated people are spouting all over social media.. our current US death rate for covid 19 is: 4%
So 50,000,000 cases would equate to:
3,000,000 deaths. If that wasnt bad enough, covid 19 is way more infectious than the flu. So chance are infected would be  closer to 100,000,000 if not more. 
I'll give you another number that needs to sink in.. 
Of actual closed cases.. meaning they either recover or die, 40% have died. That isnt a made up number. It's just not talked about. They compare deaths to active cases. But closed cases are end results.. 60% of closed cases have gone home and recovered. 40% died alone in a hospital with no family by their sides...

Wake up. selfish and uneducated view of what you think "should" be going on vs what needs to happen so millions do not die, needs to be checked at the door.
