I am connecting windows laptop to iMac as monitor, not working.. any one using imac?

What sort of ports do you have on your PC? I assume you have thunderbolt on your iMac

I tried 2 ways to connect imac from Lenovo laptop ( windows OS)

1. HDMI to Minideplay Port cable  -- NO USE

2. HDMI to DVI (24 PIN) adapter then DVI to mini-deplayport adapter - NO USE
