vatsayana Posted April 23, 2020 Report Posted April 23, 2020 Xferts, this is a general question. I am seeing 0% APR on some vehicles for 6-7 year payments. For example, kia is offering 0% apr for 75 month payments on some select models. I am wondering, what are pros and cons of this? Is it better to get loan from other banks (Example: DCU) and purchase the vehicle? OR is the above 0% apr offer is better to take? I am wondering, where will I loose money if I take the 0%apr offer? TIA. Quote

Do you think, these offers are based on MSRP and we cannot negotiate if we try to take 0% offer? that might be one catch I can think of. Quote

However, when buying from dealer with 0% apr, they might not budge on price. But, if we negotiate price first and then we need to try for 0% on that negotiated price. Hope it works Quote

Some automakers are also offering cash rebates as an alternative to those no-interest loans. In many cases, the rebate can result in a lower monthly payment when paired with a low-interest loan.
