New Zealanders taste freedom on first day of eased lockdown restrictions

After spending a month at the highest lockdown level, New Zealand has decreased its COVID-19 alert from Level 4 to 3. Many schools have reopened and locals can now reconnect with close family. Cycling, running, or swimming at the beach has been permitted as well. Many Kiwis rushed to fast food outlets and cafes, while others enjoyed time at parks and beaches.
