i though about it too .. we bought the whole desktop also lol. but aa chair hieght saripodu intlo unna desk height ki that is the problem

i will not even try that... u can get a good chair for $50.... for ppl who make minimum of $30/hr that is nothing..

I know some companies, permitting employees to take home monitors/keyboards and stuff like that but not chairs/desks

Why would anyone take furniture from office to home?

My point was - buy something at least as good as your office chair for your home office if you wanna enjoy your work. Something like the iconic Herman Miller chairs. A good, ergonomic, comfortable chair will cost over $200. Staples have some good ones.

A chair is like a mattress where you spend most of your wakeful time and so you should not compromise on its comfort level.

I will not be suprised if after lockdown companies pay employees to set up home office and give permanent remote. 

TCS told 75% employees(close to 3 lakhs) will be remote by 2025. so it saves them a lot on office space and rents
