Indian ayuthe you need to buy two, one for mixie and another one for grinder...

Very much impressed by this post. Mixers and grinders are such an important investment in our lives and I cant emphasize any further.

I think I shall do my a lot of research on this topic to keep myself well informed about this mixers and grinders issues.

We own blendtec, it is the apple of blenders, compact but super powerful.

blendtec or vitamix , you can’t go wrong with either. From idly to dosa mix to chutney to juices it gets work done kn a fraction of time otherwise that we used to invest so much time in grinder that we got from India. These blenders are 3-4x powerful than Indian mixers like preeti etc

For protein shakes I recommend vitamix good investment. 
for Indian chutneys use Priya, they are like 30-40$ on Facebook ebay
