Massive industrial boom in Anantapur

Anantapur district is set to witness a huge and unprecedented industrial boom in the next few months. An industrial boom of massive proportions is likely to be witnessed. 

An upcoming defence and aerospace manufacturing park is expected to change the industrial outlook of the region . The project is taken up by APIIC .

BEL is expected to set up a manufacturing unit  . 

National Academy  for Customs , Excise and Narcotics is expected to come up  .

Recently , an electrical bus manufacturing facility and 

An International Centre for Automotive Testing is also expected to come up .

In addition , a few automotive ancillary firms have established presence , now , all these are coming up in Penukonda - Somandepalli stretch , and it looks like Penukonda is another Sri City in the making , and expected to witness massive industrial boom .

The APIIC project and electrical bus manufacturing projects are recent proposals , which have been approved only in last few months. ICAT one was proposed last month .

The ancillary automotive units are needed to support the Kia plant production. May be should get credit for those at least.

KIA is a wonderful company. Koreans are offering a lot of employment opportunities to local Ananthapur folks.  They are not importing people from Tamilnadu at all.

Bongu emi kadu...ade twist akada..

Kia plant lo least number of ancillary units are set up...90% of the ancillaries are being shipped from TN's Hyundai plant.

KIA 's plant is merely an assembly plant..

KIA 's plant is merely an assembly plant..

I was referring to the upcoming automotive ancillary units, which are most likely meant for KIA. Ancillary units are not part of the plant, they are setup close to the plant.
