manual always risky ne...doesn't have anything to do with current economic situation. if your project is dependent on heavy testing, then no matter what they will have to continue with that....number of resources thaggistharu if there is no scope of new development (in that case, Dev;s kuda effected). Otherwise daily maintenance kuda testing team undali and ofcourse dev's too....be it automation or manual....if teams which never had automation will start thinking of converting to it and cut down manual QA's in coming months.
