One of my freidn has credit card debt 2000 Opt guy leaving Indiiaa for good , will there be any issues ?

not a big amount to clear bro, tell him to clear 2k and then leave. 

In future even after going india, it will haunt him that he ditched 2k$ of some bank, and he can't stay happy in India thinking about this life long. 

Better to clear it for all good.
