Kerala's testing is less or not that great . They are testing only 1067 tests/million with only 37464 tests

AP's testing is in good numbers. They have tested 173735 tests with 3327 tests/million.

Literacy rate, I don’t think that has helped much in so called flattening the curve..

Kerela has highest number trained nurses, nursing colleges and para medical staff, lab technicians, clinics and hospital network, medical testing centers and naturally they will have high awareness to such things..

Coming to flattening the curve, this concept may be a good sign if decelerating the spread in other countries or Europe but not in India..Even when the curve flattens and nose dives, we can still expect a spike in record number of cases.

Flattening of the so called curve won’t be of much help in India’s case...edo chepukodaniki, as usual western world tho compare cheyadaniki thappa...

ee article kooda adhey antunnadu 'tests never crossed 1000 per day' anta  , smart testing anta ? lol

AP tests 8000 samples per day, maharashtra tests 12000 samples per day

less than 1000 samples test chesthey community spread vundho ledho thelidhu

AP lo ninna 8500+ samples test chesthey 50

positive vachaayi

ela rojuki around 8k test chesi less than 20 positive samples vasthey appudu 'flatten curve' antey nammochu

ppl r not following lockdown properly, also above article doesn't take community spread into account or ppl with symptoms after 45 days (from foreign arrival)

+1 on nurses thing

But I disagree with the rest of it. Unless we have any data comparing the regular rate of hospitalizations and the current rate of hospitalization the curve is what we can keep track of as a good indicator of the status of the pandemic I think.

Look at kerala graphs, they did really awesome job

How are Indian states doing? #StateHealth
1)Alarming: MH contributing 33% of India cases. Recovery dwarfed by active cases.
2)Rising cases, rising recovery: DL,TN & GJ (with large deaths
3)Improving:RJ, MP, UP, AP, TS,JK,KA
4)Infection spreading east: OD, BR, CH, JH,TR
5)Good: KL

I still doubt if Kerala has done anything significant to contain the spread Infact, certain doubts still exists when someone claims Kerala is doing an awesome job..

Kerala normally has high tourist traffic in Dec-Jan apart from expatriate visits from Mallu’s especially from gulf and south east. It has 5 international airports and two busy sea ports.

About 100 international flights arrive in Kerala everyday, that puts the number at Atleast 25,000 travelers arriving everyday and similar number departures. And in peak travel season, The number could be three times more than what it is normally.

Nunber of cases detected in testing chusthe chala takuva, travel number and positive cases ki asalu link ae ledu...

There is something else is happening which we might not have seen or aware of, but Kerala’s number are not really impressive or so called ‘Flatten’ etc cannot be trust worthy..

Kerala's triple lock strategy
