That is really sad.. and unfortunately your friend's situation is not an isolated one. Many bright young men and their families had to go through and still going through this torture. people who could not handle took extreme steps

The ransom to withdraw cases was set at 2Cr which was atrocious.

something similar happened to a friend's friend. Once a wealthy family is now borrowing money to get the cases settled..

And that guy lost his career.. lost health and was in a critical condition in the hospital. but still the girl would not yield and withdraw the cases against him and his family. 

all this happened because the guy did not yield to the whims and fancies of the girl.
