I would like for experts to weigh in on this. Do you think the unemployment levels will go down once all the businesses start opening up ?

Personally, 2 people I know got furloughed both retail(furniture and sports goods) and one more guy put on paid leave who used to work at a farming equipment manufacturer.

Appudu ilanti industries cost cutting chusthai so jobs pothe andarni pilustharu anna guarantee ledu. IT kuda Jul Aug varaku aa debba chudabothundi. Already aiines and hospitality clients contractors ni lepesaru. Unemployment is real and will take time to settle down. But immediate ga aithe set avvadu.

My understanding is that once when we decide to kick start the economy, over two quarters , majority of the people who lost their jobs will probably get back their jobs...I’m thinking in six months from now, all the jobs lost will be re-claimed to an extent of 80%.

jobs created since GFC are all gone...i dont think so...it will take time... Comcase fired and furloughed lot of contracters, imagine airline, hospitality, retail and energy sectors... but market is up huge...may be institutions know more than retail investors...anyway this is my opinion...
