For me its like death to be in a confused state. So i decided to breath with a known system of belief. I will name it as 'Atheism' or 'Belief' When i reach the pinnacle of it in this life which seems to be highly non attainable from where i'm typing it right now.

Just because I did not contradict your  usage of the word"confusion" doesnt mean I  agree agnosticism is a confused state. In fact agnostics are VERY clear and self-aware to know that they  know nothing about God, just like any others.

the usage of "confusion" was in mere reference to draggle on a thin line being agnostic or a believer.  Any state of self awareness is the first step towards consciousness, be it a belief or disbelief. Everything coexists. Some can see clearly in both direction, some can only in one.

and what is that grand scheme of things? or is it just a phrase thrown around by believers and atheist in sync with each others theories on a different spectrum.

well, we do not know ‘yet’. If i had known what it is, We wouldn’t be having a discussion on whether god exists.

Actually, the distance between atheists and religious extremists is much lesser than Agnosts and either of the believers. Agnostic person would never speak in Absolute terms. Absolute beliefs are meaningless.

it can be botched, depending on who is the sponsor of the research or if not by the cognitive biases collectively.

There should be another way out.
